Okay. That "soulmate" shiz is pretty cheezy, but nonetheless, here is an email from astrologer email from astrologer Mark Dodich on the upcoming election. I'm not a mundane astrologer, but here ya go. Let's see.
1. Barack Obama will be our next president. According to astrology, he best represents what the country needs now. His job is to turn the corner on the change that is coming. He will be a conservative revolutionary.
2. At the beginning of the day, Nov. 4, 2008, it will look like a very close race and that McCain may be leading, but after 4pm PST, when the Moon goes into Aquarius and the western states start to give their count, Obama will take the lead.
3. His win will be a comfortable margin, but not a landslide.
4. Obama's chart indicates he has positive effects for leadership to bring forth higher ideals for humanity. On the negative side it shows he may attempt to do too much and get scattered.
5. Joe Biden's chart indicates he has the ability to get down to the depths to know what is really going on below the surface. He is not one to be crossed (lots of Scorpio)! Negative effects include getting excessively preachy or foot in mouth disease.
6. Michelle Obama's chart shows the ability to work for the larger picture of humanity in a practical and compassionate way. Negatively, she has the potential for stubbornness and the need to be the boss.
7. The chart of Ohio indicates it will go to Obama.
8. The chart of Florida looks like it will stay red for McCain.
9. The chart of Missouri leans to red for McCain.
10. The chart of Pennsylvania leans to blue for Obama.
11. John McCain will have an "event" in December of this year. Pluto will conjunct his North Node which represents soul destiny. Very serious!
12. Sarah Palen is not going away. Even though they will lose the election, we haven't seen the last of her. She has an abundance of planets in Aquarius and Jupiter, the planet of expansion, is headed in that direction. Her destiny is tied in with Obama because she has planets on his South Node, which shows that he owes her something from a past life connection. It was no accident that McCain picked her for his running mate against Obama. The "coincidence" of his position as a candidate has in effect paid his debt to her because it has given her recognition and opportunity. Notice how he never says anything negative about her. There is a great connection from a previous lifetime between the two of them. Watch this play out!
13. The chart of the United States shows that Pluto is opposing the USA Venus. Venus rules finances, real estate, stocks and bonds and we are now seeing its effects in the financial markets and the value of the dollar. Pluto comes along and trashes it all.
14. During the next presidential term, Pluto will oppose the USA Jupiter in Cancer, suggesting challenges and realignment in our relationship with the world. Jupiter rules foreign relations, banking, higher education, international law, family law. These areas will undergo transformation.
15. Transiting Pluto will be in Capricorn beginning Nov.26 through 2023. This energy has not been around since the American Revolution. Pluto transforms and Capricorn is the structure. Government, taxes, borders, big corporations, skin cancer, knees, the elderly, prejudice, farming, infrastructures (like bridges), and time are ruled by Capricorn. All these issues will undergo transformation. Keep in mind that in spiritual astrology, Capricorn is the sign of initiation into a higher order.

That was a very easy one. Obama never says ANYTHING about Palin. Why should he validate her?
The astrologer misses the significance of Leo, a sign that inherently understands validation, and the long snub.
Unfortunately Bill Clinton, also a Leo, had Saturn in Leo thus he was enticed to mention many of his enemies several times, hence growing their status.

try July 2, 1776, 4:50 pm Philly.
That's the one I use. It's based on the only evidence we have. A letter from S. Adams to his wife Abigail, discovered in the 1980s. In the letter Adams mentioned to his wife that surely July 2 would become historic. He mentioned the signing of the Declaration commenced somewhat after 4:30 pm.
Our collective July 4th date was always fictional. It wasn't even officially the date until FDR made it so over 150 yrs later.
The actual Declaration signing wasn't completed until Aug of 1776.
With the above in mind, Venus is found at 0 deg Cancer 38'. Hence Pluto has been opposing Venus already, beginning last Feb, again in Mar and once more in Nov by which time the U.S. treasury will be busted! Wouldn't you agree it's been happening pretty fast?
Re: your astrologer's comments regarding Pluto oppose USA Jupiter: any time Pluto is involved with any opposition there are strong tensions and oppositional forces at work, in simple terms, power struggles.
Jupiter makes them large, actually HUGE. The struggles will come from REGULATIONS (ruled by Capricorn) wherein Gov and corporations become larger, our activities will become more regulated.
Also I do advise you to cast a chart for July 30, 2010. Some call it the Cardinal Culmination.
Definitely a Global turning point for humanity.
